VRChat – A Great Place To Hang Out During Lockdown

Wallpaper VRChat

So my country is currently in lockdown! Well not full lockdown yet but extremely restricted. We call it the Movement Control Order (MCO) This means that all the classes are postponed, people work from home and there are more time to play video games.

I’ve started playing VRChat because of a Youtuber named Lunamia. You can check him out. He’s really funny. But I’ve started to play more during this MCO period. I didn’t think it was this fun. So many random things can happen at any given moment.

Three Local 3D Animated Films in 2019

Poster-Filem-Ejen-Ali-the-Movie

Okay I’m going to stray a little bit off anime but this sis still on the topic of animation. There are three local animation movies that are released this year so the hype in my country is pretty damn high right now. While most of you can’t actually watch those movies, I’m gonna tell you about them anyway and share the hype. Because I’m honestly just proud of what our animation productions have achieved so far. I’ll link all the trailers for all the movies that I’ll mention. The trailers have English subtitles so yea, you will understand the trailers. Let’s begin with the first movie.

Ramadhan is Here!

Anime Ramadhan

That’s right guys, the month of Ramdhan starts today! The month when we don’t eat or drink during the day but feast hard during the night. It was quite surprising to know that Ramdhan comes this early. I thought it was still 2 weeks away.

I’ll share with you one reason why we fast during this month. One of the morals is for us to understand the struggle of people who don’t have food at their disposal. It’s a really good thing to understand in my opinion.

Anyway, enjoy this year’s Ramadhan, and enjoy a variety of food that are only largely produced during Ramadhan! Well in my country at least.

See you next time!

Hey, It Has Been A Long Time!

Anime girl waving.gif

Hey there, I’m back! It’s been quite a while since I’ve last posted here. Well okay my previous post about To The Moon is just there to break the very long silence. I missed my weekly Kaguya-sama review and I even abandoned Yomu’s collaboration project. (I’m really sorry!) I do plan to finish the posts. I think that’s what I should do even if it’s super late.

Many things happened while I’m gone and I’m going to talk some of them.

To start things off, my grandfather fell down and and fractured his left hip and left shoulder bone. How? He was getting out of a car from the passenger seat but misplaced his cane and fell down left shoulder first. It wasn’t really a big fall but my grandfather is 87 years old, a small accident could damage a lot to an old body like his.

Four Years Mark: The Only 2018 Anime That I Watched

Fireworks
Happy anniversary to me! This blog is now four years old. Yes relatively, I can be called a veteran now in terms of how long I’ve been sticking around. However, in terms of actual posts, meh… Inconsistent content is kinda my brand now lol but I’ve been active for 6 months now so I hope I can continue to post regularly for at least another 6 months.

As I did in the past years, I will celebrate my anniversary by writing about shows that came out this year that I actually watched. For some reason that I’m unsure of, I don’t watch newer anime that much and I especially don’t watch seasonal anime. So can I fit ALL 2018 shows that I watched this year into one post? Yes, yes I can cause it’s only like 10 shows… Let’s begin.

Day 8 – Riko and Reg’s Sufferings in The Fourth Layer of The Abyss

Episode 10

Anime: Made in Abyss

I watched this anime knowing the glory behind it. I mean, people always gush about this anime not being only cutesy and generic and that it’s much darker than it looks. People also gush about how the world of the anime is stunningly beautiful. Because of these, I went and watched the anime with a very high expectation and with the preconceived notion that this anime is going to extremely great. But sadly, I didn’t find it all that interesting, at least not as much as other people told me so. The biggest drawback to me is that I just find the fantasy world of the anime not as interesting as I thought. The concept of the abyss is pretty great but I’m just not curious enough to know more about the abyss.

Day 7 – Kae’s Sudden Transformation

Kiss Him Not Me 4.png

Anime: Kiss Him, Not Me

I mentioned in my review that this particular scene was what made me try this anime in the first place. If you don’t know the scene, it’s actually in the first episode where Kae, the main character transforms from being fat to being super slender as a result of her depression. She does not get out of her room and does not even eat for a week. The result of it is very positive though, at least towards her body.

12 Days of Anime – Intro

Tomoko Peace Sign
Yep, 12 Days of Anime is just around the corner! If you don’t know, 12 days of anime is the time before Christmas when people post their most memorable anime moments of the year for 12 days straight from 14th of December to 25th of December, the day of Christmas. At least, that’s the original idea. Now, people simply have their own unique ways of doing the project but they keep it anime related.

I actually thought it was from 13th of December until 24th of December and then the next day, everyone will dedicate one post to celebrate Christmas. But I guess it’s doesn’t work that way.

This blog has existed for close to 4 years now. And it’s an anime blog. But I’ve never actually joined the annual 12 days of Anime project. Part of the reason is because I’m a very slow writer so it’s quite hard for me to post everyday for 12 days. However, this year, I’m determined to join it for the very first time. While many people have evolved their ways of doing this project, I’m going to stick with the classic. I’m going to post some of the best anime moments of the year for me. Of course, this is only limited to anime that I’ve seen this year, not anime that is released this year. So, expect some of the older anime to come up in my next few posts. Well, all this while I’ve been posting older anime anyway…

Perpetual Morning hosts this tradition so you can read the details there. Basically, they provide a Google spreadsheet so everyone who participates can give and link the details of their posts there. Every 12 Days of Anime posts will be gathered at one place. It’s pretty cool because I didn’t know this until like 4 days ago.

So yea, that’s my announcement for today. I’m doing the 12 Days of Anime for the first time. Look forward to it and goodbye for now ~

Online Social Anxiety??

Anime Girl Shy 3.gif

I don’t interact much with people online. Not in any social media for that matter. Even in anonymous forums, or pretty much anywhere online, I just don’t interact with online people much. I honestly think that it  has to do with my social anxiety and the fact that I think it’s pointless to say anything online. Contradictory of myself who freaking has a blog! Hear me out though.

This problem is more of an online thing than a real life problem. Firstly, I can’t seem to comment on other people’s blog. I feel like the things that I have to say has little value or people don’t really care about it. I’m scared of unintentionally offending people so most of the time, I resolve to not commenting at all and just ‘like’ their contents. This sometimes frustrates me because there are times when I think I have something to say but as soon as I wanted to type those words in the comment section, my brain became numb and I forgot everything that I wanted to say. Yea I hate that.
