My Reactions Towards The Generation of Miracle’s Abilities

*Warning, this post contains spoilers*

If you don’t know yet, I looove Kuroko no basuke. It is one of my favourite anime I’ve seen. If you ask me which season is my favourite, I’d say the first season. Why? Because that was when I thought those GoM’s abilities were amazing I was utterly shocked when their abilities were first revealed. Season 2 was quite daunting and dragging, Murasakibara’s ability is only revealed at the end of the season. In season 3, the abilities have become totally illogical and nonsense… But still cool though.

The best thing I like when watching this anime is my shock towards seeing their abilities. The anime manages to manipulate the audience’s mind to believe that all these abilities are in fact humanly possible when it is actually not. It manages to make us expect less than and what they will be giving. We can always expect one of them to able to fly or something but we didn’t. Or at least I didn’t. That’s why I think this anime is a genius manipulator. Not to mention it also manages to make the matches thrilling explained by ‘this interesting post’ by Kai from Delucar which also proves that it is genius at manipulating us.

True Tears Review

The story revolves around Nakagami Shinichirou, a highschool boy and his three love interests, Yuasa Hiromi, Isurugi Noe and Andou Aiko. That’s all. That’s pretty much the whole story.

I don’t know why but I was in a time where I felt the hunger for romance drama anime. I desired it, felt the need for it. Maybe because I have just finished Code Geass, a pretty badass, convoluted and depressing anime recently, I just need something more toned down. After going through some anime lists, I decided to watch this on a whim and I’m really really glad I watched this. This could be one of my favourite anime of all time!!

Now, while the synopsis up there sounds like this is a bland, boring and cliché romance anime, it certainly not. The only cliché trait available is the setting. Let’s talk about the characters first.

Creative Blogger Award

Jiraiyan from The Otaku Orbit has nominated me for this award. Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Now this award is surprisingly short.

Here are the rules for this award:

  • Thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
  • Share 5 facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 15 – 20 bloggers and add their links.
  • Notify the bloggers you included.
  • Keep the rules in your post to make it easy for everyone to know what to do!

Because to me, finding facts about myself is pretty difficult,  I’ll just share things about myself which are relate to anime.

1) I usually watch 3 to 7 episodes of anime per day. Of course sometimes more than that but rarely. And of course, sometimes less because life.

2) I watch at least 2 anime simultaneously.

3) One is relaxed anime such as comedy or romance, the other is dark or depressing anime. I believe it’s the most balanced way to watch anime.

4) Watching more than 4 episodes of the same anime per day is considered a sin to me. However, if the anime is so engaging, I’ll watch it anyway. Because you know, sometimes I just have to know what happens next.

5) I’ll probably watch the sequel of any anime I’ve watched even if I hated it. That means I still have Seitokai Yakuindomo season 2 to watch. Oh and Love Live season 2, The disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan… And…and the movie sequel of Code Geass. Dang it!! I have much to catch up!

So I think that’s it. It’s really short right?

Here are my nominees:

Summer Wars Review

Koiso Kenji is invited by her dream girl Shinohara Natsuki to help her  celebrate her great-grandmother’s birthday party at the countryside. Not knowing that he will actually play as her fiancée, he follows along rather happily. One night, he receieved a mail consist of cryptic code numbers and quickly solves the code without any hesitation. His action leads him to become a suspect of hacking into OZ, a virtual reality world. In order to clear his name, he must fight against the true hacker in any way possible.

After watching ‘The Girl Who Leapt Through Time’ and ‘Wolf Children’ and hearing many positive feedbacks about the director Hasoda Mamoru, I think I might want to see some of his other works. So this led me to this anime which is pretty good. I really enjoy watching it. It has some great moments.

‘Otaku’ is a sensitive word?

Scene 1

“ I’m an otaku,”

“Oh my God oh my God oh my God! Don’t you know that otaku is actually an insult in Japan?!”

“Yes but…,”

“And yet you still use this word? You’re a total disgrace to the society! You have no life whatsoever and all you do all day is watch anime,”

“That’s not really true actually…,”

“Get the hell out of here you freaking weaboo!!”

Scene 2

“I’m an otaku,”

“Oh really? You really think you’re an otaku? Do you know who Akane Riko is?”

“Well, since you mentioned it, I guess she’s a voice actress?”

“WRONG!!! She’s a voice actress, a singer and a dancer. She also draws a little bit of manga,”

“Whoa that’s cool!”

“But you don’t know her right? I bet you don’t even know even one character she plays and yet you call yourself an otaku? You’re a total disgrace to all ‘real otaku’ out there’!!”

“Sorry then, I didn’t mean…,”

“Get the hell out of here you false otaku!!”

Of course these scenes are a bit exaggerated and I just made up the name but you get what I mean right? These situations are pretty much the more obvious situations and one of the first things I’ve seen entering the anime culture.

Request: My Cousin’s Story

This time, I’m not the one writing this post. Well of course this very introduction is my writing but the story is not. Apparently, my older cousin wants some feedbacks from people for his story so he requested me to post his story in my blog. He wants to know what people think about his writing. I see no harm in posting it here so why not right? If you have something to critisize, comment below and let us know.

At the moment, there is no title for this story yet. So here we go…
