Kaguya-sama Love is War Episode 6: Our Man Ishigami

Ishigami 5.png

This episode introduces us a new character by the name of Ishigami Yu. He is the emo, lonesome, NEET-like character who is apparently good at processing data. His expertise in processing data is what attracts the president to choose him to be the treasurer of the student council. How does he appear in the anime? By telling us he will disappear in a short while because he wants to quit being a student council member.

This Art Club Has a Problem Episode 6: Seeing things from Collette’s point of view

Confused Colette.png

In this episode of Yomu’s collaboration project, I chose to focus on Collette. Unfortunately this episode doesn’t have much Collette but I’ll just have to make do. Collette is only on one segment so let’s take a look at the segment.

This Art Club Has a Problem Episode 5: Relationship Tips for Usami

Usami Blush
Instead of just having fun watching Usami blush pretty much all the time in this anime, let’s try helping her with her love life. Let’s give her helpful tips for her to take a step forward and give her advice for her to be closer to her one and only crush. Though I’m not going to give her direct tips, rather I’ll just comment on her actions that relates to her trying to win over her crush.

But if I have to give her tips, it’d be… stop liking Uchimaki and find someone who likes 3D girls because at least, she has a chance. Oh another one is try to share the same hobbies as his so they have more common interests. But she still has to be a 2D girl so it’s not going to work.

Anyway, let’s begin.

Kaguya-sama Love is War Episode 5: Unathletic President

Seasonal uniform change.png

Another episode of two tsundere flirting and hitting each other while trying desperately not to be obvious and failing horribly at every attempt from both parties. This episode, we start with the transition of their school uniform! Now they’re wearing their summer uniform!!! What’s the difference? They’re just wearing short sleeves that’s all. The president doesn’t change his uniform though…

This Art Club Has a Problem Episode 4: Inspiring Moments

Usami and Uchimaki
Yomu listed a couple of interesting themes for us to choose from. For this episode, I chose the theme ‘inspiring moments’ in this anime.

Well anything related to arts has always been inspiring to me. It doesn’t matter any type of arts, really but since this anime is about visual arts, I’ll focus more on that. Visual arts kinda naturally runs through all my female siblings. They all love to draw and they’re all really good too (I’m really bad at it though). But it a lot of practice and patience for them to be that good. So whenever I see any drawings in the art club of this anime, I always imagine the effort and time they put in order to finish that particular piece of art. Not only that, I also imagine the time they practiced before they get to that level. It must’ve taken years of dedication and passion for them to be on their current level of skill. To me, even if it happens off screen and the anime doesn’t focus on that, it’s still inspiring.

This Art Club Has a Problem Episode 3: Usami’s Blushing Moments

Usami Blushes 8

We’re back with episode 3 of Yomu’s collaboration. This time I’ll just focus on Usami’s blushing moments. Why? Because it’s actually the main reason I watch this series. I enjoy this series but I mostly just watch it with an extremely relaxed manner. That’s what I do with most comedy anime and this one’s no exception. Since this anime revolves around Usami and her crush, that’s what I’m focusing on.

I don’t think anyone can deny that Usami is awfully cute when she blushes. Not to mention, this anime pretty much shows her blush all the time! Let’s compile some of her blushing moments in this episode shall we?

Kaguya-sama Love is War Episode 4: Fujiwara is Actually Smart?

Kaguya and President.png

I was really curious to know how the intro of this episode would play out as all the previous episode’s intro have narration from the narrator. This episode finally breaks the tradition and cut the whole narration altogether. I’m guessing there will be no narration intro ever again in the future, which is a good thing.

This episode is divided into four different segments instead of only three in the previous episodes. The first segments revolves around Kaguya and the president wearing a cat ear. Seeing both the president and Kaguya desperately acting cool despite being very impressed with each other’s appearance after wearing the cat ears is a blast. I’d like to note here that the president is actually a really weak and vulnerable person. He’s just really good and hiding and faking it with his reliable and all-knowing persona. Speaking with Kaguya with a straight face but shivering knees whenever he thinks she is cute must be a norm for him. Kaguya on the other hand is not really good at hiding her excitement and as a result, we get to her ‘evil grin’.
