There is one episode in Sakura Quest where the main character Yoshino is forced to sell 1000 boxes of manju buns because the stupid Director of the Tourism bureau accidently bought too many. They decided to challenge Yoshino to sell all of them in only a week. Having accidently signed a contract with the bureau to work for them for a year without realizing, Yoshino accepts the challenge. Day 9 – Futaba doesn’t Get The Role She Wants

Futaba Broke 2

Anime: Seiyuu’s Life

In Seiyuu’s life, there’s one part which completely broke Futaba and also us as an audience. It’s when she wants to be the role of Uma from a manga called Spiral Cafe which is going to have an anime adaptation, but doesn’t get to be one.

In the universe of Seiyuu’s Life, Spiral cafe is a popular manga series that has gotten a drama CD adaptation and going to have an anime adaptation. Futaba played the role of Uma, a character in Spiral Cafe in the Drama CD. Because it is going to be adapted again into anime, Futaba hopes to get the role of Uma again in the anime. Usually, the same cast of voice actors are used in both drama CD and anime. Well usually, not always.

Day 6 – Anzu’s Separation From The Homeless People

Anzu Separate 7.png

Anime: Hina Festival

Hina Festival is a comedy dominant anime and a very great one too. It’s been a long time since I actually laughed that much watching a series. But with all the abundance of funny moments, the anime also slides in some of the most emotional moments and one of them is when Anzu is forced to be separated from the homeless society she’s grown attached to.

Day 5 – Massacres

Cells at Work Massacre.png

Anime: Cells at Work

Yes, this show is cute. Yes, this show is fluffy. And yes, this show is educational. But man, no one can ignore the number of kills in this anime. It must be millions every single episode. Heck, I don’t even want to know how many died in the last arc of the anime.

Let’s not get ahead of myself here. If you haven’t watched this anime for some reason, you’ve probably heard about it because it’s super popular it’s impossible to miss. So in every episode, there will be a problem inside the body and the cells have to work and find solutions to the problem. The problems can range from having virus or bacteria attacks to allergy and wound. It seems pretty interesting and normal, right? Well of course it is! Other than the fact that MILLIONS of cells actually die as a result to those problems every episode…

Day 4 – Running Away From the Expedition Team

Running Scene 4

Anime: A Place Further Than The Universe

In the second episode of the anime, there is a scene where Kimari, Hinata and Shirase running away from two of the members of the antarctica expedition. Because they know who Shirase is, they are very against Shirase from following the expedition. So once they see her and her friends, they quickly chase them to talk some sense to them.

I really like this scene because it’s a symbol of starting a new unfamiliar journey. It’s a sign of the characters going forward albeit struggling very hard and not even knowing if they’ll succeed. It becomes much more apparent when Kimari starts laughing and enjoying the supposed horrifying run. It shows the thrill the characters, especially Kimari are feeling doing something intense and novel. It shows the hope the characters are holding onto as they believe that anything can happen and everything is going to work out. It shows that their lives are changing either for better or for worse. In Kimari’s perception, of course it is for the better.

Day 2 – Ohana’s Reaction of Her Own Porn

Anime: Hanasaku Iroha

I think I’ve mentioned this before but I love PA Works. There hasn’t been any studio which managed to attract me every single time they release a series. Hanasaku Iroha is no exception. This show is very enjoyable, I enjoyed it pretty very much. However there is one scene where I find it… odd.
