tari-tari_11_group_photo

Synopsis

These five students are in the same class and later on, the same club because of different reasons. Konatsu wants to create a vocal music club and asked her best friend Sawa to join her. Wakana is invited to join the club because of her musical talent. Taichi joins the club hesitantly after being challenged by Konatsu and Wein joins the club because… well, just because. Joining the club, they all slowly familiarize with each other and become closer. As close as a highschool friendship can go that is.

Review

For all its worth, I like really this anime because it depicts a pretty realistic highschool friendship. We all have passed this phase, having a group of friends which are pretty close but in reality, aren’t actually very close. We consider each other as friends only because we’re in the same class, or we’re in the same club, or we’re roommates. That’s pretty much what this anime is all about. So, these are the reasons why I like Tari Tari.

My Thoughts On The Fate Series

Saber

Overview

A little bit of overview for those who haven’t watched this series. Don’t worry, there’s no spoilers.

So first of all there is a war that is called the ‘Holy Grail War’. In this war 7 masters summon 7 servants fighting to win the ‘Holy Grail’, an omnipotent wish granting device. Each master is chosen by the grail to participate in the war and most of them have a wish they desire to be fulfilled. The only way they can win the grail is by surviving the war and being the last man standing. And so, 7 masters with their own servants fight to the death to win this grail.

Toradora Review

Review

You know, summarizing a romance anime is pretty easy because the premise is really simple. But for people only reading the synopsis, they might be turned off by it (and confused because of the many names). It’s basically the same like any other romance drama out there. Simply said, the appeal of a romance genre is not in the plot but in the characters. So then, let’s go straight to the characters. I’ll explain about the two main characters pretty briefly because I don’t really think they’re that interesting compared to other characters.

Sound! Euphonium Review

Sound! Euphonium

Synopsis

The story follows Oumae Kumiko who wants a new life in her new highschool. During middle school, her concert band got a ‘dud gold’ for the prefecture competition so she wants to forget about it and get away from it. However, her new friends in highschool insisted her on joining the school’s ‘helpless’ concert band and she joined the very thing she wanted to get away with full of hesitation.

Review

This is NOT another version of K-on… because let’s be real, after seeing the cover photo everyone thinks it’s just another KyoAni’s cutesy girl show. So did I. Until I actually watch the anime that is. Well to be honest, even if this anime is just another Moe show, I’d watch it anyway because of the beautiful animation.  But I have to say that this anime rocks hard as the primary focus is not on the Moe side.

One Outs Review

one outs 4

Synopsis

Tokuchi Toua is a master gambler who plays a simplified version of baseball called ‘one outs’. The rule of one outs is very simple, there is one pitcher and one batter. If the ball strikes three times, the pitcher wins but if the ball goes out of the infield, the batter wins. He is the unbeatable one outs player in the Okinawa area until one day, he is (kinda) defeated by a professional veteran batter named Kojima Hiromichi. He is persuaded by Kojima to join his team, the Lycoans baseball club and be a professional baseball player. He accepts it.

He then meets the team owner and negotiates a contract that has a ridiculously great disadvantage to his side; for every out he records, he will earn 5 million yen but for every run scored against him, he has to pay 50 million yen to the owner.

Review

I’ve heard people say that this anime has many similarities with Death Note because of the mind games. Since they said it was similar to Death Note which is one of my favourite anime series, I thought to give this anime a try. And oh boy did I enjoy the hell out of this anime.
