This Art Club Has a Problem Episode 5: Relationship Tips for Usami

Instead of just having fun watching Usami blush pretty much all the time in this anime, let’s try helping her with her love life. Let’s give her helpful tips for her to take a step forward and give her advice for her to be closer to her one and only crush. Though I’m not going to give her direct tips, rather I’ll just comment on her actions that relates to her trying to win over her crush.

But if I have to give her tips, it’d be… stop liking Uchimaki and find someone who likes 3D girls because at least, she has a chance. Oh another one is try to share the same hobbies as his so they have more common interests. But she still has to be a 2D girl so it’s not going to work.

Anyway, let’s begin.

That’s good, Usami. Make effort to spend more time with him, alone if possible. I get that you feel self-conscious and embarrassed about asking him out, but this is Uchimaki we’re talking about. Even if you make bold moves, he still won’t acknowledge it. I suggest you make more bold moves and be more straightforward because let’s be real, he won’t notice anything that you do (This is a bad advice, I know but sshhh Usami doesn’t know it).

What you have there Usami, is a companion that will always support you. It’s really good to have a friend who is not jealous of you and always make effort for you to be closer to your crush. Just make sure that she’s not secretly your rival. In your case, it’s perfectly fine because even if your companion is secretly your rival, she has a lower chance of winning him than even you! So rest assured.

Yea I agree with you. Teasing your crush may build up some relationship points with him which is of course a good thing. However, you need to make sure you don’t cross the line. You don’t have Takagi level teasing skill so you might accidentally make him mad at some point. That’s the last thing you want to do to your crush, right? But remember, this is Uchimaki. Even if you make him mad, he’s not going to be mad at you for long so mayyybe you can prolong and increase your teasing session.

It seem like you actually took my advice. You actually tease him a lot in this episode. I know you. You most probably won’t do anything overboard so I trust you.

The ability to comfort your crush when he is down. I’m not really sure if you have that ability but judging from the screenshot above, maybe you have it. Since this matter is brought up, I think it’s always a good thing to know much about your crush and how certain things affect their mood. You especially want to be there when they’re feeling down, right? Imagine Uchimaki thinking about how you’ve made his awful day by giving him a cute anime girl keychain. You totally want him to think that, right? Now, the only thing you need to do is learn about his current favourite anime and his best girl.

That’s all I can comment about your actions, Usami. I believe you’ve tried enough to be closer to your crush. Keep doing what you’re doing and I promise your relationship with Uchimaki will at least stay the same as long as no one intervenes.
