My Second Time Going to an Anime Convention

comic-fiesta-2016

Where do I start? I guess I’ll start with explaining about the convention first. In my country which is Malaysia, there is only one big anime convention that pretty much every anime fan here go to. The convention is called Comic Fiesta. It is held annually in December and lasts for two days. It’s more of a comic convention than an anime convention but people here don’t read comics that much. We watch more anime instead.

I went to this convention last year and I think this year is much more fun and organized. Last year was totally hectic. This year, we went to the convention well prepared. How? By buying the early bird ticket and arriving at the location much earlier. We were very excited about this event. We arrived at 7.45 a.m even though the event only started at 9.30 a.m. I guess we arrived pretty early but there are many others who had arrived way earlier than us. They’re… they’re very passionate. Upon arriving, we quickly queued at the entrance. Since it’ll be more than an hour before the event actually started, the visitors are allowed to sit down on the floor and wait.

When it was finally 9.30 a.m, (it was actually a tad bit earlier than that), the event finally started and we were allowed to enter the building. So what did we do first? We went to the food stalls and bought some overpriced food! Why? Because we didn’t know where to go. Like last year, we didn’t actually have any specific location to go or booth to visit so to avoid the crowded place, the food stalls were the first place that we went. Not long after, we started our journey… which was wandering from booth to booth, the only thing that we could do.

Tari Tari: A Realistic and Heartwarming Tale of Friendship

tari-tari_11_group_photo

Synopsis

These five students are in the same class and later on, the same club because of different reasons. Konatsu wants to create a vocal music club and asked her best friend Sawa to join her. Wakana is invited to join the club because of her musical talent. Taichi joins the club hesitantly after being challenged by Konatsu and Wein joins the club because… well, just because. Joining the club, they all slowly familiarize with each other and become closer. As close as a highschool friendship can go that is.

Review

For all its worth, I like really this anime because it depicts a pretty realistic highschool friendship. We all have passed this phase, having a group of friends which are pretty close but in reality, aren’t actually very close. We consider each other as friends only because we’re in the same class, or we’re in the same club, or we’re roommates. That’s pretty much what this anime is all about. So, these are the reasons why I like Tari Tari.

Set To a Mobile Friendly Theme

unnamed

Hey there! Long time no see! I just want you to know that I changed my theme  to a mobile friendly theme so that it is more convenient for people who like to read using their phones and tablets. This theme is okay I guess. At least, it doesn’t hurt my eyes when I read it and it’s pretty easy to read.

No no, no explanation of my hiatus. I will, however, post a few more until the end of this year and disappear once more next year.

I CAN’T WRITE!!!

Anime Girl Typing

I’m now living in a noisy environment. I can’t write… Whenever I feel like writing, there’ll always be someone calling my name or texting me and asks me to help them with their assignments… or starring at what I’m writing right now.  I have no privacy. I feel uneasy whenever I want to write so I always advert myself to other things. I thought I could advert myself to anime but I was wrong.

Differences Between Myself and Tomoko from Watamote

Watamote

No, I’m not going to compare my current self with her. We are nothing alike now. I’m much more social than before. However, I want to make a comparison between her and my elementary self since at that time I had a serious social anxiety. I mean, I actually couldn’t bring myself to the counter of Mc Donalds and buy a happy meal. Yes I was that socially awkward. Well then, let’s compare ourselves.
